Mr. President, I thank you for nominating a strict Constitutionalist to the Supreme Court.
Brett Kavanaugh, I want to thank you for accepting the President's nomination.
I hereby pledge that I will stand with both of you in the coming confirmation battle against the increasingly deranged radical Left.
The stakes of this battle could not be higher. If we prevail, America will have a 5-4 conservative majority on the Supreme Court that will restore Constitutional order and preserve the Bill of Rights, individual liberty, and the original intent and meaning of the Founders.
But, should we fail, America could still wind up with a 5-4 liberal activist Supreme Court that will erase the First and Second Amendments and squash individual liberty with an all-powerful federal government.
Please know I will not intimidated by the increasingly hateful and violent actions of the unhinged radical left and the liberal Democrats. Nor can I be fooled by the lies and smears of the Fake New Media. All these "resistance" members are out to undo the 2016 elections, tear up our Constitution, and transform America into a tyrannical social state.
Please also know that I will personally remember how my Senators vote on this important nomination the next time they are up for reelection here in my home state.
Winning this major battle will reshape the Supreme Court for a generation or more. Which is why you can count on me today and until this confirmation fight is won
